3.25 Rebellious Gale (9/2)  is in the Tracker, very consistent in this type of race and well worthy of a small win only bet if you wish. West Of Carrig is also in the Tracker but more of a long term prospect as is Rockanrye.

 

At the top end of the market Appian Way for Elliott is up 10lbs and on past evidence may need the run off a 138 day break but a big danger. Hilltop Supreme and Cheerful Chap are capable of outrunning their big Odds. American Money just missed out as niggles re stamina.Dr Val seems to like Fairyhouse and Some Woman could be a danger on Handicap debut.

 

FRIENDS N COMMERCE was a runner up off 107 goes up to 3miles and looks very solid, LORD GILLYGOOLEY went 3-2-1 last season off marks of 95-97 and placed off a mark of 106, he made a promising return and could be primed off a mark of 107 less a 7 lbs claim. I can;t leave out SHANTOU LADY who just got the nof over Cher Why Not, a Course winner who gets 3 miles and the inner track will help.

4.00 HARD TARGET is the likeliest winner and should be backed accordingly. Chelseas Friend may find the trip on this tighter circuit too sharp, Twoplustwoequals has shown some promise but may need the run, Maggie Walsh has won already this season but was all out to do so off a lower mark but not many have its win potential and proof. Fons Vivus should win races in time. The pair i like at decent odds to outrun them are GETAWAY ABBEY who showed promise aplenty last term and who should now be race fit and SILVERSTRAND who has also shown promise a few times and looks over priced.

4.35 The Connector is in form but steps up in trip and not great value for me, Bint Freya showed glimmers last time and rates a danger, Shes Commanche was solid in 2021 but on recent form would require a leap of faith, Whiskey Lady may improve for blinkers but impossible to tie down what its best trip is, Whip Whittaker and Away To Milan are not without ability.

 

I really like WE'LLGOWATTS and PERFECT ARCH here in the context of the race. the former has won at the trip off a mark of 83 showed signs of running in to some form last time and 86 looks a fair mark, the latter has been off 106 days but waited for better ground and real signs of promise least time.  

 

RESERVE JUDGEMENT is in the Tracker and form figures under Rules are dire! BUT look back at the sole P2P it raced in and won and look who he beat, a now 120 Rated David Pipe horse and a 126 Rated Nicholls horse, beat them fair and square and indeed a 100 rated Irish horse. He runs off 86 with a 7lbs Claimer. That ability was there if they can just find the key.
