Fakenham 1.40 Class 5 - Selling Handicap Hurdle - 2 miles
A moderate field but I particularly like the look of a couple of hardy veterans from the Bernard Llewellyn yard.
I don't think that Ted Back or Outrath at the head of the market are particularly good value but the one nearest the top of the market who looks a nice each way price is FLANAGHANS FIELD - a 12 year old who won at Plumpton just 3 months ago, has dropped back to that win mark, OK on genuinely soft Going and a horse who will always give every bit of its admittedly limited ability. I would be disappointed if it does not place at the very least.
The other runner from the Yard at bigger odds is the 11 year old GLOBAL THRILL who has bits of quite recent form that would give it a sporting chance of a place here at nice Odds.
