ROBIN - Ascot - 12.45 Conditional Jockey Handicap Hurdle - Class 3 - 2 miles 5 and 1/2 furlongs - Good to Soft (likely dead ground)

 

Magic Seven and Roger Pol are priced about right at the head of the market but neither represent confident win value for me. Rebel Intentions has Course winning form and Distance winning form elsewhere but looks a little high in the handicap as a result of some good recent form. Delganey bobby blue is upped in trip by the Skeltons and could be anything but no real evidence to go on. Fable is a very lightly raced Henderson horse who has shown glimmers of ability but a 237 day break suggests might just need this but one we'll add to the TRACKER after today's run. Halifax at a price could outrun its Odds, it has proven stamina and if they go a yard too fast early could pass a lot of these on the run up the hill - worth a small £1 e/w if you fancy a dabble.

 

I'm most confident by a considerable margin though about IMMORTAL FLAME and FIFTY BALL.

 

IMMORTAL FLAME has form figures of 3-2-1 off a fairly static mark when you take the Claimers claim in to account here, conditions suit and it's hard to see any reasons why it won't be competitive again.

 

FIFTY BALL is a Course and Distance winner, promised a return to form last time out and lurks on a very appealing handicap mark and we know how the Yard milk these small handicaps around their beloved M25.
