Ascot 4.10
ROBIN - Ascot 4.10 Handicap Hurdle - Class 3 - 2 miles 7 and 1/2 furlongs - 15 run - Good to Soft
It's worth noting that a couple have this as a second preference race but would be dangerous if diverting here so note Mt Fuji Park and Don't Rightly Know as possible dangers.
At the top of the early market, Havalla is penalised and upped in trip and Loup De Maulde looks solid but not begging to be backed for the win.
There is a lot of scope about COCO MADEMOISELLE who makes handicap debut and this ex 3 mile P2P horse looks an exciting prospect and at around 6/1 may be excellent value. Honor Grey may need the run off a break of 482 days but was very progressive before injury and we'll TRACK it forwards.
A couple of long term TRACKERS look to have serious chances and far more than early prices and recent form may suggest. SPORTING MIKE returns to hurdles off a very competitive mark and has simply not taken to the bigger obstacles but should be far more at home here. CROSSING THE BAR looks to be right out of form but has won in February the past few years, suddenly sparking in to life, it could be a case of third time lucky and off a very nice mark on best from and at around 33/1 I'll actually be disappointed if we're not picking up some enhanced place money.
