Chepstow 3.22

ROBIN - Chepstow 3.22 Mares Handicap Hurdle - Class 5 - 2 miles 7 and 1/2 furlongs - 11 run - Good to Soft (some rain about)

I think this will be run on basically Soft Going so no real excuses for anything in terms of it being too firm or too heavy.

Camambert Electric (your lucky ian's not in the chair today as he'd be telling you all about Camambert Electrique - bets you look it up it's old hippy music of his era), is up 4lb for an impressive Ffos Llas victory over 3 miles last time that wasn't really out of turn and is the one they all have to beat. If you want to take 5/2 or lower that's up to you, i'd never bet anything below 4/1 in a 3 mile race anywhere.

Milanese Rose is in the Tracker following an impressive run last time and has a solid chance but doesn't represent great value compared to at least one other in here in my analysis. If the price lengthened to above 6/1 it would be nice e/w value though. Born In Borris is one i've added to the Tracker this morning having looked back at its form. The Tizzard yard is doing far better at this stage of this season than in any of the last few seasons. They have had health issues in the Yard for a couple of seasons and Joe might just be bringing some fresh ideas, the horse needs to show it still has ability but any signs of better form should be noted.

Walk In My Shoes is back off a 254 day break and a wind operation for Jonjo and has some P2P form and one to watch to see how it goes today with a view to tracking after today. Follow That similarly has been off for 617 days but has one standout effort in heavy Going over 3 miles and is another to watch today.

WRAP YOUR WINGS is one I shall have a small investment in for the Frosts, it does have the benefit of some recent runs over an wholly inadequate trip. It's another with some 3 mile P2P form and may be on a nice handicap mark. The race fitness and a first time hood suggest to me it could run a place possibly at nice e/w Odds.

My idea of the best each way value though is ASTRA VIA from the Evan Williams yard, the Yard are going well, horses coming on for seasonal debut and this one ran a solid race over course and distance last week and looks a nice each way chance.
