Chepstow 3.40
Chepstow 3.40 11 Paddy The Oscar @ 14/1 / 8 Gardiners Hill @ 16/1 (BV / SkyBet) - 1/2 point e/w each
I want to take on the favourite here (have a win saver if you wish to cover the each way bets by all means) but Iwould want 3/1 against any horse in a 3 mile race in soft Going round here and by race time it will be churned up dead
ground I would imagine. I think that Allchilledout; and Alf N'Dor will need this run, they will be of interest very soon. The
each way banker has to be PADDY THE OSCAR; now 14 but we saw at the weekend how these veteran Chasers can thrive
in these conditions. The other thing about PTO is that it runs prominently and if they get the pace right can have some needing
the run gasping for air coming in to the home straight, and likely a few pulled up to save them for another day. It is a case of;
are 2 good enough to get past PTO in these conditions, fit and ready to go, my hunch is another place run. I was left with two
others of some interest and will have a stab with GARDENERS HILL; won fto last season; improved from a mark of 81 to 102;
has 3 mile form in the Point to Point fields and also on Heavy Going, he may need the run like a few others but that first time
out win, is a compelling enough case for a small each way punt. The other one to watch and if you want a bit of shrapnel on is
Thegreendalerocket, won a race over further last October on its second run off a mark of 111; is fine on Good to Soft; if this
race had been first on the Card before Course got churned up, may just have preferred to GH but on balance, will keep a close
eye on it and whatever it does today should outrun large odds and be one to follow.
