Chepstow 4.05
ROBIN - Chepstow 4.05 - Handicap - Class 6 - 7 furlongs - 12 run - Good to Soft
A bit of rain so it's not going to change too much Going wise, and this is a tougher 7 furlongs than many think due to the significant undulations that the TV screens simply never fully show. I wish one day they'd stick a camera on a jockey here just to show exactly how undulating it is.
At the top of the market there are obvious chances for Deacs Delight and GALILEO GLASS who would definitely be the one they all have to beat for those who like a win saver bet.
I think a few others though have very good claims at better e/w value and if it turns out again after running yesterday Fact Or Fable would have solid each way place claims.
My chosen pair though are OKAIDI for whom a tough 7 furlongs should now be optimum trip wise, it should now be fully race fit and as with many in this Yard is chalk and cheese and one you have to catch right, I am 100% confident though that it can and will be far more involved today and it's a bit more than quietly fancied. For a small shrapnel bet at nice e/w odds in the early markets then RED BRAVO really did jump off the page at me too. Mixed messages so far about the best trip but I think this horse is best at trips just short of a mile and the Yard is in decent form and we should get a good run for our money here.
