The Jump Jockeys "Derby" and as they are all very competent horsemen it's a race we can judge on the form of the horses and Trainers as much as the pilots.

 

With ground softening a few have Going and stamina concerns.

 

Derry Lad and Thibault look strong contenders but look to be too short in the market at the back with any degree of confidence for the win only. Rozalia is progressive and looks the most solid option at the top end but Going will be an unknown for it. Napper Tandy makes its turf debut and Runrized who has French form in mud at 10 furlongs and Kings Castle who has some Course form could outrun their generous Odds.

 

I am really keen though and a pair and on an outsider for a £1 e/w punt.

 

VISSANI has French form in soft going at this trip and although not yet delivering for Ian Williams has been tried on firmer Going and shorter trips and this could be the first time it gets optimum conditions and off a steadily reducing mark could be about to show us some true form.

 

ENTHUSED is very hit and miss but ticks all the right boxes in terms of the Course, the trip, the going and the handicap mark and the same applies to MILITRY DECORATION (strange but factual spelling of militry); who also gets probably the best pedigree in terms of the jockey booking!
