Exeter 12.55

Robin - Exeter 12.55 - Handicap Hurdle - 2 miles 7 furlongs - 14 run - Good to Soft

A race for Conditional Jockeys and a few will have a better pilot than others but a competitive race nontheless.

A few may come on for the run specifically Take Em Out. Ardimelo showed some promise last time and could improve and that would put it in to contention. Demon Fou has disappointed the last twice and despite the assistance of Rex Dingle may prefer a shorter trip. Tippalong Tyler is one to keep an eye on too, won nicely at Warwick, had excuses losing a shoe last time but the handicapper may have been a bit harsh in raising the horse to a mark of 94.

The two I fear most other than the selections are THE COMPOSER who looks the one to beat, winner and runner up in 3 of last 4 runs off marks of 91, 101 and 102, it's off 106 here and just the complete lack of value at the price unless you want a small win saver. HAWKS WELL for Emma Lavelle whose horses are not quite improving for seasonal debut as they normally do, is another big danger and this trip has always looked the logical move to make and rates a really strong contender IF seeing out the trip, but they could have found much easier tracks to test the stamina!

The selections are CASPERS COURT a 3 mile P2P winner who had tactical speed to win over 18 furlongs earlier in the season, if you forgive last run then looks well in here despite a 7lbs penalty. At bigger Odds I think NOBEL JOSHUA is worth a poke for the Pipe team in good form, ex Gordon Elliott and will come of for Stable debut, was a winner off 102 at this kind of trip in Ireland so a mark of 110 with a 6lbs Claim gives it a sporting chance of some place money at least and certainly one of the less exposed.

TIP - CASPERS Court / Tracker - Nobel Joshua.
