A competitive race where recent winners Crossley Tender and From The Heart step up in Grade. Both are clearly in good form but opposable on balance. Crossley Tender is up to a mark of 109, having won off 101 in a Class 5 Chase and a Class 4 Hurdle, big danger but no value. From The Heart has won Class 4 races on Good and Good to Firm off marks of 103 and 108, and will find the soft Going here off a mark of 115 a much different kettle of fish.

 

Present Value may have a chance if getting the trip but no conclusive evidence that it will, and that left me with 3 I'm most interested in.

 

Kim Bailey has his string in great form as we saw on Friday and HE'S NO TROUBLE ridden by David Bass looks an interesting prospect who should relish conditions and the step up in trip for the first time under rules. A 3 mile P2P winner, this should be a winnable race if the horse has the potential they seem to believe it has.

 

BROADCLYST is another from the P2P fields and has solid Class 3 form and should be capable of picking up a place at least here and I'm also intrigued by COBOLOBO, very very inconsistent horse, but due a "good one" and with fitness now assured I think could out run what may be very generous each way Odds.
