Exeter 3.45
ROBIN - Exeter 3.45 - Handicap Hurdle - Class 5 - 2 miles 5 and 1/2 furlongs - 15 run - Good to Soft > Soft
After about 100mm of rain in the past month Devon has had 4-5 days of lovely dry if fresh days but some steady rain overnight and during the day should freshed the gOing up to be genuinely soft rather than Good to Soft sticky pudding!
Danton and Portentoso are solid market leaders in a competitive race with a number of unexposed prospects and some solid more exposed handicappers. Call Me Arthur is upped in trip with Harry Cobden, a bit of an eye-catching booking in the saddle although I feel it's just more of an opportune extra ride on the day. Lock Out reverts back to a dangerous hurdle mark from Chasing toils.
Tizzards run a couple and Bala Brook looks a longer term prospect whilst DYLANS DOUBLE might just now be ready to deliver something tangible. A good course run adds to that confidence and I'm quietly confident that this one could pop up today at a nice price.
I'm going to TRACK Miss Harriet at a massive price, she is a Maiden but has some very solid course form here and other right handed tracks and by no means a no hoper, she may need a few runs but i can see her popping up here or at Taunton, Wincanton or possibly Hereford some dreary midweek day in the coming months!
For some shrapnel here and off very appealing marks we have ARTHALOT who has had a prep on the Flat and over an inadequate 2 miles over hurdles and JOE COTTON who won twice over a trip of 2 and a half miles in P2P days, who should have come on for a recent return and for whom this really does seem to be an ideal sort of trip now.
Tips (1) Dylan's Double / (2s) Arthalot / (3s) Joe Cotton
