A moderate but competitive race where the one they all have to beat is EPISODE from the Gary Moore yard. Good solid form and the only real danger it seems at the top end of the market may be Miss Zip, a 3 timer last February took the mark from 85 to 98, it looked to be returning to a bit of form last time and the Blinkers, present in the 3 wins are back on, but at 11/4, preference is for EPISODE and a win saver is suggested at around 5/2.

 

Of the remainder, Achy Breaky Heart ran well last time but didn;t jump well or with any great conviction and this turning figure of 8 places an emphasis on clever jumping, so we'll watch it but it would be a danger if jumping better. Florella is an experienced P2P horse but 11 years old now and perhaps shows a lack of real depth in the race to be quietly fancied at 11 years of age, Tippingituptonancy is another 3 mile P2P recruit, glimmers of form for Tim Vaughan to suggest it may outrun previous form but not compelling enough for me today. The same applies to Mrsgrey, who could run well too.

 

The longer priced one I can't resist is HEPBURN for Ali Stronge and James Bowen, has run well to this kind of distance over further before fading, James Bowen is an interesting booking, no excuses with the Going or the mark and may just be that they can ride it a bit more aggressively at this reduced intermediate trip.
