Its likely to be quite attritional here as is the norm at this time of year.

 

The market is all over Fairlawn Flyer impressive when winning the last twice for the Bowens and Alkopop who was runner up when they met here last time. Fairlawn Flyer is up another 7lbs and the lower the price on any Bowen horse the more twitchy I get. Its clearly the one they all have to beat so if you fancy a win saver, feel free, I think there is value elsewhere.

 

There has been market support for Anak from the Rebecca Curtis yard but the form doesnt yet amount to much but it is a local yard (as local as Curtis is to anywhere at least). Summit Like Herbie seems to prefer Doncaster and may not like it this deep, Looks Like Power is definitely going to be one to track but may need this run and better ground, Eden Flight can't be discounted given the Trainer/Jockey form but has a lot to find on present form and Robin Of Sherwood like Looks like Power is one to get/keep in your Trackers as it's very well handicapped and may just need a bit of more Spring type ground but I came close to including him today so if any selection is a non-runner I'd have a small shrapnel bet on him as reserve.

 

I really think BALLYBREEN should now be fit wnough to take closer order here, it has taken time to get right this season and has a win best mark of 94 and a best recent place mark of 101, its down to 97 with a good 3lbs Claim and really no excuses on any account today. TUDORS TREASURE is another of interest and finally back at the trip its sure been crying out for, as the last twice over course and Distance it has won off 96 and ben runner up off a mark of 100, so you have to prick your ears up at a mark of 94 today in optimum conditions. I'll also have some shrapnel on LITTLE RED LION, he ran very well in the mud at Lingfield over 3 miles a 5 furongs in the race where Echo Watt and Samuel Jackson placed at big odds for us and I think the drop in trip and eased slightly in Class is a positive move.
