Likely to be a real stamina test here and although Master Tradesman is a strong favourite and will be tough to beat, at 5/2 I will take it willingly on as not 100% sure about it liking quite as soft as it may become.
North Star Oscar and volcano were a couple I looked at very closely but in both cases I think that the trip may stretch them and the added issues would be the weight for Volcano and the Going for North Star Oscar. Jully Des Duxy is a danger on some form lines and one I fear and Steel Native is the type who can plug on and always be a danger in these conditions, both reluctantly left out of the final 3 choices.
The tip is LATE SHIPMENT who is a Course and Distance winner and fine in the Going. Has come back down to a very nice mark and also the 2 runs so far this season should now ensure it is bang on 100% race fitness. LANDOFSMILES is one of 2 Tracker tips, has some nice 3 miles P2P form and bought along gradually by Peter Bowen, may still have some progress and has a decent chance here of a place at least at nice Odds. The other tracker is LITTLE BOY BORU and I still think there is a win in this veteran and last run indicated a lot of ability still there and another who is very close to last win mark.
