Very moderate field of 11 and hard to have confidence in any which is why at the Odds I really want to oppose Brigadeer Bob and This breac, they may well come home 1-2 but on past form and conditions/trip, I'd rather search deep for some form and value.

 

There are a pair who have the stamina and ability to win this, IF it was on genuinely "good going", more summer jumpers but I would not discount the chances of Master Sunrise or Lamh Ar Lamh, my biggest concern over LAL is jumping these bigger Chase fences, if it was a hurdles race it would be a confident tip and Master Sunrise may just find it a bit too soft today. No shock to me if either won at big odds and if the track is riding decently by the time of this race and either are double figures I may be tempted for a very small wager on Master Sunrise.

 

The clear tip though is PERPIGNAN - this one has 3 times won Point 2 Point races with "soft" in the Going description, the booking of Schofield really catches my eye, a superb horseman with a great tactical brain and ability to keep a horse interested and in contention and it has proven stamina and Rules form maybe not best guide as rarely run over this kind of trip which early P2P form indicates it needs....on a poor day or racing and options, worth a speculative bet each way.

 

TIP - PERPIGNAN (keep an eye on market for Master Sunrise if track riding genuinely Good to Soft and double figure odds)
