Hereford 4.00
ROBIN - Hereford 4.00 - Mares Handicap Hurdle - Class 5 - 2 miles 5 and 1/2 furlongs - Good to Soft (light rain) 14 run
A Mares Handicap Hurdle and a few I want to track here in the shorter or longer term.
Just Go For It; is on a slightly inflated mark and is best on Good ground but usually fires in March when ground can firm up so we;ll be waiting but watching today. At bigger prices both Atjima and Lady Corrib look like longer term prospects. Lady Corrib has one bit of eye catching P2P form and several good P2P runs that suggest this mark is very lenient once she clicks and Atjima one very good run at Ffos Llas and suggestions she too needs better ground. A small £1 e/w on Atjima may be a good side bet IF it's no worse than Good to Soft at start time.
Trackers and future Trackers aside, Selkirk Grace goes beyond 2 miles for the first time so has to be vulnerable to stronger proven stayers, Lady Baiko is the one to beat but is far from a solid jumper of hurdles, Another Day Out was disappointing last time and can be taken on and not a lot else really jumped off the page at me other than my two main selections.
DAMASK was an eye catcher at 2 miles last time and is a stronger and more experienced horse than when last trying this sort of trip, Hereford isn't the toughest of tracks stamina wise and I'd give her a sporting each way chance. KIMBERLEY EVE was progressive prior to a disappointing run on bottomless ground last time, she will be far more suited to these conditions and still has scope to find a true ceiling in terms of her current handicap mark.
Tips (1) Damask / (2) Kimberley Eve
