Not the best or biggest race of the day by any means but with some enhanced places I have strong and confident views on a couple.

 

Golan Cloud may just need this run and should come on for it. Stoney River also makes seasonal debut and is one I will follow closely in the coming months.

 

The standout pair for me though are RICKETY GATE a nice winner for Nick Richards last time with Hughes up and although up 7lb for that win it seems the type to run up a sequence to me as long as the Handicapper does not over-react and I don't think 7lbs is an over reaction.

 

I fancy GRAND VOYAGE to follow it home. A nice 3rd here recently and the step up in trip and a bit of race fitness look sure to ensure at least a repeat performance for the Coltherds.
