Kelso 3.24

Robin - Kelso 3.24 - Handicap Hurdle - Class 5 - 2 miles 5 furlongs - 13 run - Good to Soft

I think this is one of those races where you start to eliminate horses from the top and bottom of the market and you suddenly find a couple in the middle that jump off the page under closer scrutiny. Hopefully the logic pays off.

Gentleman De Mai could be anything from a good Yard off a 376 days break but the odds are restrictive. Post Chaise is another who may need the run but has won off a mark of 84 and placed off 89 and that's solid form if fit enough. Pavlik makes handicap debut and is stepped up markedly in trip for a canny Yard and Perfect Man is another with form chances but who also may need this run on past evidence.

BESTARIUS probably prefers shorter than this but has won at 20 furlongs and is a real danger and GOLDEN ROBIN probably needs a few more pounds respite from the handicapper but is gaining race fitness and should be in the money soon. If you want a shrapnel bet on both dell free, if i had to pick one of those it would be GOLDEN ROBIN.

The one that really does jump off the page though is CORAL BLUE who has winning form off a mark of 85, has had 2 runs which have been needed but visually improved last time and running off a mark of 87 it should now be really primed to go.
