This is a pretty tight and competitive race and quite a compact betting market.

 

If there is one with a bit of e/w value it could be BEAU HAZE who has won twice at Ffos Llas at 2 and a half miles on Good to Soft which would probably be equivalent of soft ground here, so off a mark of 94 with a 3lbs Claimer is a horse who is certainly not handicapped out of it at the price.

 

Most of the others hold solid claims, Finalshot could be well handicapped if discovering old form but may need better ground, Judicial Law has won twice at 2 miles in NHFlat and Maiden Hurdle and is upped in trip and is one of those that may yet improve too at this kind of trip, Steinkraus won for us here before Christmas over 3 miles and is from a Yard you can never discount, Electron Bleu will surely be fitter after seasonal debut and will be a big danger alongside, Neon Moon for David Pipe who is up 7lbs for a nice win last time and Glacassley who looks like one slowly getting the hang of things and who will win races soon.

 

We haven't touched on the favourites yet and both Lounge Lizard and Cafe Pushkin are unexposed types from leading Yards clearing progressing.

 

The one that really caught my eye though at a price i felt too high is WHATSUPWITHYOU. Much more highly tried in Class 2 and 3 than any of the rest of these and a horse who is on a very competitive mark who has never been disgraced and often run well in better Company. In a tight race it certainly looks worth an each way punt as I think it's been underestimated by the early Markets.
