ROBIN - Market Rasen 3.55 - Handicap Chase - Class 4 - 12 run - Good

 

Before having the tip on the Mulholland trained horse at 14/1 yesterday, I had already analysed this race and picked DEAD RIGHT as my Nap of the weekend and I've no reason to jump ship now. It's got an excellent record in the race, all the experience needed and the Yard are clearly in fine form. We're in that cross over between Summer and Winter Jumping and the Yard is one I'd always swerve with the barge pole in the deep winter conditions but this is their time of year!

 

I'd also decided to put up ONE TRUE KING for the Twiston-Davies yard before Sam rode a great treble yesterday with a couple for his dad. It's another Yard that usually does well in the transition to Winter Jumping in September/October and this horse won the race fresh last year and is one of those older horses who runs with greater enthusiasm early in the season than it does later on and another who should be primed.
