I don't expect the Going to be any better than "Soft" by the Off and with some more rain due it's likely to be a real stamina test.

 

Not many of these like to get their feet wet so at the top of the market I am happy to take on Espinator and To Be Sure.

 

A couple who can handle Soft Going come off 3-4-5 month breaks but LEGEND OF ZORRO who runs after 120 days off has won before off a 118 day break and has won over 2 miles 7 furlongs and 3 miles 2 furlongs over Fences and I think could make a bold bid here if ridden to get a second wind into the home turn.

 

Gang Warfare has also run well before when fresh and reappears after 177 days, has twice placed at this kind of trip and one to keep an eye on for it's next run.

 

Wavecrest has won a 3 mile Maiden P2P and although it's hard to correlate that form with anything solid could outrun big odds.

 

The other one I'd like an investment in is KINGSTON KING, Dai Rees trains, Sean Bowen rides, it has a Course win and a win at the Distance elsewhere has won in soft and off a competitive mark and I think the one they all have to beat here.
