A very competitive race and hard to rule much out.

 

I think Temple Brew may now be handicapped past the point of winning off it's mark, King Of Jungle may be better at other trips, Neptunian looks a bit short in the market at this stage of the season and Hot Chestnut just looks too short to me too in a competitive race of this type.

 

SPANISH STAR though ran well over 7 furlongs at Newbury last time, travels very sweetly, doesn't find a great deal but this steady uphill climb may be ideal and if it can be delivered with its usual running style at about the 100 yard marker, I think it can gain a well deserved win. 

 

Wowzers is a promising 3 year old out fairly quickly after the weekend, Sky Blue Pink has yet to match last Autumn's 2 year old form but one who could easily revive and is very much feared. Twilight Madness is another with genuine claims as are Mister Bluebird, who may just be over the toop for the season though and bePrepared and Louie De Prima who on the other hand will surely need the runs after delayed seasons.

 

At BIG odds I think SERGEANT TIBBS is excellent market value. It's lightly races, 2 AW runs mask an excellent run at Newbury in May and I more than quietly fancy this one. I found it very hard to discount CAPOTES DREAM who had an excellent 2021 and is only now getting some respite from the handicapper and also BEYOND EQUAL who is very solid with good Course form, of the pair the scope of CAPOTES DREAM just wins the day.
