Sedgfield 1.20

Sedgefield 1.20 6 Master Rajeem - @ 10/1 - 1/2 point each way

A tight and competitive handicap over just north of 3 miles and 2 furlongs (26 furlongs) and a field of 9 go to post.
I think this trip might stretch quite a few who are comfortable at 3 miles, but yet to conclusively prove they can get this extended
trip. The trip is my only concern with Red Danaher, likely to try to make all and we know Danny Cook can slip a field, but a few
might be wiser to that now and stay close enough but also conserve energy when they can here; Cabragh has a lot of weight and
may need this seasonal debut; Velvet Cognac might not appreciate too much cut in the ground and Vinnie Lewis does not seem
great value to me off so short a price with stamina yet to be fully proven. The "rag" Houndscourt would be more fancied over

Hurdles, but no surprise to see it outrun its odds but the one that ticks all the boxes for me at a nice price is MASTER RAJEEM.

MASTER RAJEEM was runner up in the equivalent race last season off a similar mark; has had a run this season which it really
needed, it may still need this, but I'm prepared to take that on board. It is ideally suited by the trip and more suited to it than any
other horse, Going will be fine, whether Good to Soft or Soft; or indeed "pudding"; and the mark we know is no handicap. I will
be disappointed if it does not place at least, and provided it is fit enough, a win would not be a huge surprise, hence the tip.
