A competitive and tricky little race where the one to beat looks to be; GIVE US A SWIG. I'm happy to have a win or each way saver on this one, it ticks all the boxes and I think with the others at the top of the market looking less strong, Eaton Miller comes off a 297 day break and although it has run well fresh in the past is now a bit high in the handicap after a sequence of 3rd / 1st / 1st prior to a fall in its last run of last season. The Boat will be a real danger but clearly benefited from a faller to win last time out but it's up in trip so we have to take stamina at face value.

 

A couple at bigger odds who could run well are Queen Of The Court an ex P2P winner although this does seem to be a very belated switch to Chasing to me, of more interest may be Mr Katanga whose best Hurdles performance was here over 3 miles on Good Going off a mark of 101. It's had 3 runs so should be plenty fit enough and a mark of 92 is interesting IF you want a bit of shrapnel.

 

The one I'm most confident in though at an each way price is ONE FOR DUNSTAN. It's won a Handicap Hurdle over a furlong less on soft ground off a mark of 87, placed off 94 in that sphere and has jumped the bigger obstacles perfectly well in 2 recent runs, should be perfectly race fit now as a result and a mark of 85 very much tempts me in.
