Exeter 2.55 - you really have to take fitness of a lot of these on trust and most invariably need a run. Those who've had a run are largely suited by better Going and the one that does look most likely at a price with some form on seasonal debuts or after a break is Venetias horse SNUFF BOX.

Twice runner up off an extended break and has some solid Course form too, Going is not an issue whatever it is and this looks like a pretty lenient handicap mark too.

Exeter 3.25 - The Mares Handicap Hurdle is a similar tale, a few progressive types head the market on merit but I will have a small bet on WINTER GETAWAY who was a winner on Soft going twice as a juvenile but has largely been kept to better Going since, they drop back too to the trip it has won off from 3 miles and it has had a run where it ran well for a fair way before fatigue too over and with the Yard having made a quiet start it may be they will soon pick up as horses gain condition.

With the step back in trip, Going and handicap mark ticking all the right boxes well worth a small investment.
