Uttoxeter 3.12

ROBIN - Uttoxeter 3.12 Handicap Chase - Class 2 - 3 miles 2 furlongs - 16 run - Good

At the top of the market here the likes of the progressive Twig, the consistent, the Christian Williams trained Cap Du Nord, who might find this a slightly easier field to dominate than some recent runs, and the very progressive Kinondu Kwetu who runs off top weight and an increased mark following a stellar rise, will all take a lot of beating but in terms of the form analysis and current market prices, I have found a couple that jump off the page at me, and SEAN is very keen on a specific Irish runner too, which is analysis I very much agree with.

The likes of Jaytee, Definite Plan, Anightinlambourn and Easkey Lad can't be totally discounted either but we'll nail our colours to the following-:

I'm most keen on RUTHLESS ARTICLE who was runner up in this race last year off a mark of 128, subsequently won off Course and Distance off 132 and runs off that mark today for Rebecca Curtis and an interesting jockey booking in Danny Mullins. SEAN conversely is most interested in the jockey booking of Sean Bowen, who excels here probably more than any other course for Gordon Elliott's THE ABBEY whose Irish form looks typically unexposed.

At bigger Odds and with enhanced places I think that both FIDUX who was 4th in the Scottish National last year and who looks to be on an interesting mark and primed for Alan King and the in form Tom Cannon and ORGANDI who unseated rider in this race last year but who then went to Warwick and won impressively, with Sam Twiston Davies's booking catching my eye, are both well worth some each way shrapnel.
