York 2.30 - 5 furlongs - 15 run - Class 2

 

I find it very hard to split the prominent running Course specialist COPPER KNIGHT and the usually held up and fast finishing ARECIBO. The determining factors would be the Course form of Copper Knight and the fact Arecibo may need luck in running down the centre of the Course. I will play a reverse forecast though on the pair.

 

I want something drawn high with a bit of hidden form at a nice price and think that TANASOQ is very over-priced. Very lightly raced since winning at the start of last season, 2 recent runs mean no excuses now fitness wise, this looks slightly easier off a reducing mark and this horse strikes me as one who will "find a level" at some point. A 4 time winner in 2018 off marks from 76>90 so back on that highest winning mark here.
