SHADY OPERATOR ran then ragged in this race last year, clearly likes the Course, has been over the banks in the winter and looks sure to run a big race off just 3lbs higher and it would be a surprise if he wasn't aimed at the race again. Willie Mullins Recite A Prayer is a worthy favourite and progressive so a reverse forecast with SHADY OPERATOR too may be a canny bet.

 

Of the rest Champagne Platinum is the class of the race and looks sure to run well if not quite win, GLENLOE is long overdue a win and we have the enigma that is RAGNAR LODBROK who can win any race in terms of engine and ability but remains a frustrating sloppy jumper. At these Odds I can't resist that notion that one day he will string it all together and survive the odd sloppy jump and cruise home!
