It's always a risk with any newcomer and you can never know fully what to expect but on 3 specific angles I really like ONCEBITTENTWICESHY.

 

A May born, which is quite late (we'll look at birth dates in my next article as it can be an important pointer, and apparently gelded already.  A high draw is usually an advantage here and the Yard (Bill Turner) are usually on the ball with their 2 year olds and have been for a long time. 

 

What I particularly like is the pedigree, starting at 6 furlongs is interesting and understandable as Sire Ardad is very prolific and highly rated in both 2022 and 2023 offspring as was his sire Kodiak. On the Mares side (a decent horse at 6 furlongs to a mile) the grand-mare was Arebayeb whose stock also suggests genuine early 2 year old speed.

 

Whatever happens on debut, this is most definitely a 2 year old to follow once they get an angle on the kind of level he can operate at. (CE)
