Huntingdon 4.20 6 Copperfacejack @ 8/1 (1/4 point each way).

A moderate race where the top two in the market look strong, Midnight Gem and Rogue Dancer have slithers of form that may make them dangers at decent Odds, WHIN PARK will be tough to crack but the price is prohibitive, although a small win saver might not go amiss. The best each way value could be COPPERFACEJACK; it has good past winning form and consistency and almost certainly needed and will benefit from most recent run. They take some of the aids off but add back a Tongue Tie and on this tight unrelenting turning right handed circuit, I think the running style of COPPERFACEJACK will suit and if the tongue tie works, can go close at a decent each way price.

We also looked at a few that did not quite make the cut, most notably PERFECT POISON who may just still need the run and MAMOO who might just not want the rain in the 4.50 at Huntingdon but not confident enough even for a small stake there, and the same applied to our old friend VERSIFIER in the 5.30 at Hereford.
