Yarmouth 4.00 10 Oceanus + 3 Fanfair both look to have chances better than odds (above) indicate, Oceanus is a Course and Distance winner off a mark of 61 a track specialist who appears to be an "autumn horse:, I don't see a high draw as a negative and off 61 with a 3 lbs Claim could out run odds as could Fanfair who likes a bit of cut so early morning dew should ensure it is God but no Firm and is on a nice mark with Rossa Ryan booked. I do think KABRIT is the one to beat if you want to play a Tricast Perm.
Yarmouth 5.00 when spoke to Ian last night about Whitecrest he was adamant that they are in "handicap mark reduction mode"; he knows the horse/yard better than I do but a small saver at 8/1 is suggested. The bigger odds though about OCEAN TEMPTRESS and FATHER MCKENZIE is my preferred tip here; the former has some good form off this kind of mark and the latter seems somewhat unexposed still in a moderate late season handicap.
We did look at the 15 runner Handicap Hurdle at Exeter but can't decide between 4 (Ladies Dancing; Thundering Home; Akkapenko and Thomas Blossom and on unseasonably Firm Ground for down here, will by-pass and wait for another day for some NH tips.
