CLONMEL 3.40 Handicap Hurdle - 2 miles 4 furlongs - Soft - 12 run

Coffeys Forge and Mount Shenshan are in the TRACKER already. I would question the market value of the former who has now moved to the Elliott yard and whilst I think that Mount Shenshan is a horse well worth following and one who will races very soon, he may just need this off a break of 5 months although the booking of Danny Mullins suggests they have a degree of expectation.

I've got Going and stamina concerns about Elusive Guy and whilst I think Johnny Cakes is the one they all have to beat and a "win saver" bet if you want it, I do think the each way value is in DONEGAL DANNY.

DONEGAL DANNY has shown glimmers of form, a drop back to this trip won't harm his chances and if he's ridden with restraint up the hill out of the back straight on the second circuit and not forced to go too early down the downhill back straight, until they hit the rising ground, I think he can run a place at least with Johnny Cakes and Mount Shenshan the dangers. NEWBURY 2.25 Handicap Chase - Class 4 - 2 miles 7 and 1/2 furlongs - 10 run - Soft / Heavy

Jasmin De Grugy is on a 5 timer but upped in trip and 11lbs, Sound And Fury has won twice at Uttoxeter this season off marks of 113 and 117 and runs off 122 with a 7lbs claimer up at this very different Track. I will TRACK forwards House Of Stories an interesting longer term P2P recruit for Rebecca Curtis and I think it's early days for Garincha still (an existing TRACKER horse) after an 18 month break.

I narrowed my investment thoughts down to a pair of whom Phanton Getaway could run a place here at nice e/w odds if you wanted a small poke. He's best fresh and likes Ffos Llas clearly but Newbury is not dissimilar in its layout (left handed and a long straight) so he could run a big race at nice odds.

I was very impressed though by NEW ORDER at Warwick, given a typical David Bass ride and he remains very underrated especially on these young Chasers with a metronome in terms of pace in his head. A 7 lbs penalty may not stop him against a pair who are shorter in the market but who may have less scope. (Advisor)
