Fontwell Park - Tuesday 14th September

Fontwell 3.10 Handicap Hurdle - Class 5 - 3 miles 3 furlongs - Going Good (some rain about)

At the top of the market we have a couple of last time out winners upped again in trip and although this is a sharp and easy Track the constant turning can test a horses stamina and jumping accuracy in a different way.

Of those at the head of the market at around 5/1 I think WATCHING BRIEF for the Braces is excellent each way value and with placed form at this trip and all other boxes ticked hard to see him not placed at least.

Racing Spirit is lightly raced but may just still need this but definitely one for your Tracker I'd suggest.

The pair at bigger odds I most like in order of preference are ALI THE HUNTER for Johnny Farrelly and Brendan Powell. Runs off a nice mark and best runs have been at an extended 3 miles and Good going should be fine and would be a sporting e/w punt if it doesn't turn soft. IF it did go Good to Soft or Softer then I'd be very keen on JAMESAINTPATRICK who came from 3 mile P2P fields, trip is fine and on it's best Hurdles form is off a nice mark.

If you just want to play one of those nearer the Off play ATH if Good and play JSP if Soft is in the Going description. I'll have a Tracker on both but bet at your discretion.

TIP - WATCHING BRIEF - Trackers (see notes) - Ali The Hunter / Jamesaintpatrick

One little pointer here - Marc Goldstein in particular but especially for Sheena West, Goldstein has just one ride on the Card for Ms West and at a nice double figure Odds DECORA in the 2.05 may be worth a small each way interest.
