At the top of the market and at pretty short prices for any Class 5 race over this sort of trip both O'Faolains Lad who impressed under Rules for the first time when winning last time at Newton Abbott and Jony Max who is a 3 mile P2P winner trying this kind of trip under Rules for the first time look big dangers. At the prices though it's a completely different kind of track/test for O'Faolains Lad and the P2P form of Jony Max is hard to really quantify.

 

We know a bit more about the prowess of Jonjo's Write It Down who has a possibly more obvious chance of getting this trip but the one with some good Course and Distance form, form at the trip elsewhere and just 2 lbs above it's win mark of last 2 wins is LEGEND OF ZORRO.

 

At the available price I think it's well worth a punt and it will be disappointing if it doesn't give us an each way return and I'm quietly confident of a win under these conditions.
