MICHAEL - Limerick 3.40 Handicap Hurdle - 3 miles - 13 run - Heavy

 

At the head of the market we actually have 3 TRACKER horses, Positive Thinker won last time out and Robyndeglory is also in decent form but i think this trip in heavy might just stretch it. Of the three I'm most confident in KILLINURE LASS who I think has the more verifiable stamina than  the other pair in heavy ground. A crafty T/Cast Perm might be a fun bet for a small stake.

 

I'd have stamina concerns too over Mrs Watson and Nephin Beg but Nephin Beg is one I think can be winning soon, possibly over slightly shorter so I,ve just added that one to the TRACKER. At big odds a decent run by Coole Arcade would not be a surprise.

 

The pair for some shrapnel that I really like here though are ANOTHER NIGHTMARE who has a 3 mile background and who is up 5lbs for what may have been a fortuitous win last time but one that may win again and MONT SAINT VINCENT who should improve from an encouraging seasonal debut recently and one who has shown promise at the trip and in Heavy ground.

SEAN - Limerick 4.14 Munster National - HC - 3 miles - 12 run

 

A race that has frankly been turned in to an utter farce with 8 of the 12 standing their ground being from the Elliott yard and of those most probably here for a good Course blow out and final preparation for other races before the New Year. You can't blame Elliott though if other Trainers don't Enter and Run although most i suspect know they'd be balloted out and will look at other options.

 

Something has to win the race though and of the fitter ones and the fitter Elliot ones I think that both GEVREY who was going well enough before a bad jumping error last time and THE GOFFER who has had 2 runs and should be fully primed are the best investment options.
