RT - Hereford 3.28 -: Hill Of Tara is in great form, is unpenalised for an impressive win a few days ago and hard to oppose if that run doesn't come too soon. Mactavish is in the TRACKER and clearly second best rated but would not want the ground to be too soft. 

 

I looked at three with a degree of interest and confidence as being the best place and enhanced place options at decent e/w odds and NEWTONIAN who ran best race so far at Ludlow last time in soft conditions and FAHA BELLE who is a 3 miles P2P winner finally stepped up to that sort of trip by Fergal O'Brien would look the most likely options. The other one considered is Santa Clarita who returns to Hurdles with some new headgear that may induce some improvement  -

AW - Newcastle 3.37 -: An open looking race over an extended 2 miles and I do like recent Course form here and both ZEPHLYN and SHOW NO FEAR ran with some promise last time they appeared here, running with credit over the trip and both look over-priced. If there is one that could revive its old Ghadbbaan in a new Yard now, who is one worth keeping an eye on. -

Advisor - Hereford 3.58 - another race here where the top end of the market looks solid and strong but not great value. If I had a NAP though on the Card it would be MARTALMIX'JAC and if you can get 4/1 it would represent an e/w Banker for me as I don't think the Venetia trained Natty Night is particularly good or well priced. Samatian makes a delayed transition to Fences so the value each way is JACK DOYEN who had a standout win at Warwick last season off a mark of 90 and NINE NINE NINE who disappointed last time but who had previously shown promise when runner up at Uttoxeter. -
